KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Authorities are looking for a man and a woman in their mid-20s who robbed a Kalamazoo business at gunpoint early Thursday.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers were called to the 4700 block of Stadium Drive around 2:30 a.m. Both suspects fled the area on foot after the male pointed a handgun at a clerk and demanded money, according to a press release.
Surveillance footage indicates both suspects were in the store minutes before the robbery. Investigators believe they left the store in a Ford Focus, then walked back to commit the crime.
The male suspect is around six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark grey pants, a light grey hooded sweatshirt and black shoes at the time of the incident.
The female suspect is around 5-foot-6 and weighs approximentally 130 pounds. She was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, pajama-style jeans and white tennis shoes. She was also wearing a shirt that had the letters “U” and “I” visible.
