BANGOR (WKZO-AM/FM) — Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a fugitive wanted for robbing and then torching a laundromat in the 100 block of East Monroe Street in Bangor.
They say 21-year-old Dominick Wheeler had been taken into custody by police, but managed to escape from the back seat of the cruiser.
Wheeler ran from the scene and remains at large, police say. Wheeler is also wanted on other outstanding warrants.
The laundromat suffered extensive damage, according to fire officials.
