UPDATE – 8/19 at 7:58 a.m.: The child has been found safe at a home in South Haven. She has since been returned home.
ORIGINAL STORY:
BANGOR (WKZO AM/FM) — A 15-year-old girl is missing from her Bangor home and so is her father’s SUV.
Ariel Wescott apparently left her parents a note on Wednesday that she had gotten a ride to a friend’s house and would be back Thursday morning.
When she did not come home, they called the friend’s house and learned that she had not been there.
He discovered a key was missing from his key ring and so was his Chevy Blazer, which had been parked at another location.
The maroon Chevy has an expired Michigan disabled plate of 3222J2.
Wescott is described as 5’6” and 118lbs with straight sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. They say she needs medication but did not take it with her.
