KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Craft Draft 2-Go tap room was closed Wednesday night and there is no telling how long it may remain closed after one of the co-owners, Aaron VanArdsdale, was exposed on Facebook for all the anti-Semitic graphics and Nazi symbols on his profile.
There is even a photo of him giving the Nazi salute. The social media uproar resulted in protestors at the taproom on Stadium Drive and anti-Nazi slogans painted on its windows.
VanArdsdale claims those pictures were put up years ago as a bad joke. He claims he isn’t a white supremacist.
When we stopped by, someone had left their Craft Draft growler outside the business as a silent protest, and all the angry denunciations painted on the window had been scrapped off.
Musicians who have played there are saying never again and some breweries have reportedly cut off their beer supply.
VanArdsdale says he may have to walk away from the business and leave it to his partner.
