CONSTANTINE (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s officials in St. Joseph County say six out of seven establishments that sell alcohol in Constantine passed compliance checks.
Jit Food and Gas on North Washington Street was the lone store that failed its check.
A 38-year-old clerk with an address in Constantine sold alcohol to a minor. That clerk was later given a citation.
Narcotics investigators, while coordinating with Community Mental Health, sent a minor into seven stores as part of Monday’s operation.
