UPDATE: A suspect, a man from the Comstock Township area, is in custody. Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Pali Matyas says the victim is said to be a man in his 40s from the Plainwell area.

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Kalamazoo County say they’re investigating a shooting in Comstock Township that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
It happened at Sprinkle Road and East Michigan Avenue around 4 a.m.
It’s not clear at this stage whether any arrests have been made.
