CHINA (WKZO AM/FM) — Foxconn, the Taiwan based manufacturer of cell-phone parts disappointed a lot of people in Michigan when the founder said he would be building a $10-billion plant to make liquid crystal displays in Wisconsin.
Now the South China Morning Post is reporting that there may be plans for the company to diversify into the autonomous car business, and that they will locate that operation in Michigan.
No dollar figure was mentioned.
