KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The chilly rainy weather cancelled a lot of beach plans Friday. It may have also kept some people from attending Ribfest Friday night, which went ahead despite the conditions.
The drizzly rain, which fell most of the evening, forced Portage Public Safety to cancel their Respect for Law movie night at Celery Flats. It will not be rescheduled.
It also put a damper on outdoor play at the USTA Boys Tennis Championships.
The good news is that better weather is expected for the rest of the weekend. Ribfest continues through Saturday night and the Tennis Tourney will continue through the week.
