OAKLAND COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — On the day that Governor Snyder signed his “Good Jobs” bill, which was part of the state’s effort to draw Foxconn to Michigan, the Taiwanese cell phone manufacturer announced late yesterday that it will locate in Wisconsin.
What they say they will build there is bigger than anything that was announced…a ten billion dollar plant that will create and spin off 13,000 jobs.
Governor Snyder is still hopeful that the package of business incentives he signed at a vacant industrial site in Oakland County will allow Michigan to reel in other business, but it appears the big fish got away.
