KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A hit-and-run driver has left a Kalamazoo pedestrian in critical condition after a collision in the 500 block of East Michigan Avenue.
Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to the scene at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Witnesses say two younger males in the vehicle failed to stop after striking the man and fled the scene. Officers found the man lying unresponsive on the pavement.
The 30-year-old victim is in the intensive care unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
The only description of the hit-and-run vehicle is that it was gray and should have front end damage.
