KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Wings are linking up with the Vancouver Canucks organization.
The Canucks and the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League will be sending their long-term developmental prospects to Kalamazoo under an affiliation deal, according to a release from the K-Wings.
The deal was announced earlier this week.
It will be the third time both organizations have been partnered together, most-recently from 2011 to 2015.
Four former K-Wings have suited up for the Canucks since Kalamazoo joined the ECHL in 2009.
