KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A driver who allegedly led police on a high-speed chase that began in Kalamazoo and ended on a dead-end road south of Galesburg has been charged with fourth-degree fleeing and eluding.
Marvin Tabor, 27, was ordered held on $5,000 bond. Tabor was also charged with failing to pay child support and had holds for a marijuana possession and stalking charges from earlier this year.
Officers from several police agencies, police tracking dogs and a Michigan State Police helicopter were deployed to track him down after he escaped on foot into a wooded swampy area off 35th Street on Tuesday.
