BALTIMORE TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — A domestic dispute involving a separated married couple and another man has left a woman dead, the other man wounded and the husband in jail in Barry County.
Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf said it started just before 2 a.m. Sunday with a report of shots fired at 6900 Bird Road.
Deputies found 31-year-old Nathan Farrell of Lake Odessa suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Soon after, at a nearby residence, a woman who had been shot to death. She has been identified as 26-year-old Cheyenne Bowling from Woodland Township.
About three hours late,r a fire broke out at a home on Coats Grove Road near Woodland, which is two townships away from the shooting scene.
WOOD-TV is reporting that the estranged husband, Ralph Bowling turned himself in to police and may be charged with the shootings and the arson at the home the couple shared sometime Monday.
Cheyenne Bowling was apparently staying at the home of her parents, which is where the shootings occurred.
Farrell’s condition has not been released.
