CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) – A couple from Dowagiac on a motorcycle were injured when a vehicle pulled right in front of them, turning left into a driveway along Dutch Settlement Road Friday just before 10 pm.
42-year-old biker Michael Friske had to be airlifted to Elkhart General for treatment of his injuries.
His passenger, 32-year-old Cherrell Marie Merwin was taken by ambulance to Borgess Lee Memorial for treatment.
The two occupants of the vehicle were not hurt but the driver could be ticketed or charged pending the outcome of the investigation.
