KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Western Michigan University football will welcome Syracuse to Waldo Stadium in 2018.
The Power Five school from the ACC will visit Kalamazoo on Sept. 1, 2018, as part of a home-and-home agreement. Western will visit the Carrier Dome in 2019.
The 2019 trip will be somewhat of a homecoming for WMU head coach Tim Lester. He served as an assistant coach for the Orange from 2013 to 2015.
There are two Power Five schools on Western’s 2017 schedule. The Broncos will kick off their season in Los Angeles against Southern California. WMU will head to East Lansing to play Michigan State the following week.
