KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The Borgess Hospital Emergency and Trauma Center will soon open a new wing that will specialize in helping mental health patients who are in crisis.
It is adjacent to the Emergency Trauma facility but separated by a door, has less traffic and a quieter atmosphere.
They snipped the ribbon on the $1.5-million Behavioral Crisis Center Monday, and it’s slated to be open for patients on July 1st.
