HARTFORD (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s detectives in Van Buren County believe a 55-year-old man was listening to his iPod when he was struck and killed by a train near downtown Hartford early Wednesday.
WOOD-TV reports the collision occurred near Main and Railroad streets before 9 a.m.
It remains under investigation. The collision has essentially shut down the downtown Hartford area, the television station reports.
