BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM/FM) — A 57-year-old was booked into the Calhoun County Jail after a four-hour standoff at his home on Seivour Avenue in Battle Creek.
It began Saturday afternoon after the man allegedly hurled death threats from his front porch at Battle Creek Police Department officers, who were there investigating a harassment complaint.
He surrendered peacefully and without incident, according to a press release from the department.
