BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A 20-year old Battle Creek man will be facing multiple charges on Monday after he fled from police.
He was spotted committing multiple traffic violations near Dickman and Carl just after 3 am Saturday.
He reached speeds of up to 100 mph prompting officers to break off the chase for safety sake.
They caught up to him after getting a report that he lost control and crashed through several fences, striking a building at the Village Inn Apartment complex.
He fled on foot but was captured.
The man was treated for minor injuries and then taken into custody for driving drunk, fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of an accident.
