KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township has adopted a new logo to make their government, and their community, stand out from the crowd.
Trustee Steve Leuty said the township has lost its identity. People really don’t know what makes the township different. He said they sort of get lost in the crowd with the city, the county, the school district and the township, which all share the Kalamazoo name in some way.
As part of their strategic planning, they want to do some branding — not the kind cowboys used to do, but the kind McDonald’s does with its golden arches.
Leuty said they will start with their stationery and their business cards and work up to the bigger things.
