BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Brian Zanetti is back in Michigan again, and has now been formally charged with first degree murder and a gun felony for the premeditated murder of Frankie Zanetti.
So far, no one, including the suspect has apparently been able or willing to explain why. Nearly a dozen witnesses were in the Older Zanetti’s tile shop when a man walked in, asked to see the owner, and then walked up to the 63-year-old and shot him once in the head at point blank range.
Police say that man was Zanetti’s cousin, Brian, who fled the state after the shooting and was arrested where he now lives, in Libertyville, Illinois.
Because he is considered a flight risk, bond has been denied.
