KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There were some electrifying moments for the passengers of a Metro Transit Bus that swerved, when the driver said he was cut off by a car.
The bus swerved into a power pole, dropping power lines onto the bus, trapping the passengers inside. They were safe as long as they stayed on the bus.
Consumers Energy dispatched a line crew that shut off the current, allowing the passengers to get off the bus.
Four of them suffered minor injuries.
