PAW PAW (WKZO-AM/FM) — Construction crews are slated to begin the reconstruction of the westbound Interstate 94 bridge over the Paw Paw River this Monday.
Michigan Department of Transportation Spokesperson Nick Schirripa says drivers could experience brief bottleneck delays over the next few months.
“All westbound traffic will be shifted over to the eastbound side during construction,” Schirripa said. “We will have two lanes open in each direction.”
It’s the second half of an $3.5 overall million investment. The eastbound bridge was completed in 2015.
