SCHOOLCRAFT (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are investigating a collision near Schoolcraft that put a woman from Centreville into the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 3:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a crash between a car and a semitrailer on U.S. 131. Further investigation revealed that the commercial vehicle was actually parked along the state highway near XY Avenue.
Thedriver went off the road and crashed into it. Investigators have no idea why.
The 22-year-old was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance and admitted in serious condition.
