KENT COUNTY (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s deputies say a 19-year-old from Wayland is dead after crashing his car into the back of a tractor trailer in southern Kent County.
Jeremy Hibma collided with the commercial vehicle on 100th Street near U.S. 131 before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say the other vehicle was stopped at a red light. The other driver was not hurt.
It’s not clear what prompted the crash.
