KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A man who was slashed on the arm and jumped out of a window to escape two men trying to steal his shoes has been stitched up and released from a hospital.
Kalamazoo Public Safety got a 911 call from a neighbor, who saw the victim jump out of his window in the 1300 block of South Westnedge Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday after hearing a fight next door.
Officers were able to track down the victim and take his report. He claimed one of the assailants held him at knifepoint, demanding he hand over his shoes.
They are now looking for the suspects.
