KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A shooting at the Interfaith Townhouses has left a 28 year old man in the hospital with an abdomen wound.
Following surgery, doctors say the victim is expected to survive.
Public Safety responded to reports of shots fired at the housing complex on Kalamazoo’s far north end at about 3:36 Saturday morning.
By then the victim was already on his way to the Emergency Room at Bronson Methodist in a private car.
Detectives have been unable to find any witnesses, only a few shell casings in the parking lot where the shooting occurred.
A person who was with the victim at the time of the shooting was unable or unwilling to provide any useful information.
