KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A task force working on the creation of a Kalamazoo County photo identification for people who can’t get a state identification card have been given another 90 days to present their plan.
They have been, more or less, directed to make it the best program of its kind in the state, if not the nation.
Task Force member and County Commissioner Tracy Hall said they have accomplished a lot but still have more to do.
Commissioners were all impressed with the work that has been done.
About two dozen people from various agencies, special interest groups and just normal residents spoke in favor of the ID program on Tuesday night.
