KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Kalamazoo has announced that the Rotary Club is pledging a multi-year, $50,000 grant to buy a shade structure that will be an accessory to improve concerts and events at the Rotary Stage they donated to the city by the organization in 1999.
It will be put up and taken down for specific events that might be enhanced by having a cover over the crowd during the summer.
It’s part of the Bronson Park 21st Century Campaign, a community effort to raise $2.8 million to improve Bronson Park.
