KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Second Impressions Thrift Store in Kalamazoo will be giving away clothing to community members this Saturday.
They hold two giveaways annually with the aim of helping those in need in southwest Michigan. They’ve held the giveaways for about six years now.
“It’s an opportunity for them to supplement their wardrobe, their school clothing or their work clothing,” Bill Coning, who is with the store, said on Friday.
Bill Coning, who is with the store, says the event gets underway at 4 p.m. It will run until 6 p.m.
“Everybody who comes by can pick out 10 pieces of clothing,” Coning said.
The store is located south of the pedestrian bridge over South Westnedge Avenue.
