KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s investigators in Cass County believe drugs and alcohol played a role in a late Sunday rollover crash in Wayne Township.
Lucas Black, 34, swerved out of the way of a passing northbound vehicle as he was driving southbound on Ruby Road before 10 p.m. The Dowagiac man lost control and rolled his vehicle multiple times, according to a press release.
Black was rushed by ambulance to Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac. His current condition was not disclosed.
The wreck remains under investigation.
