KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) –Despite bitter cold temperatures, there was a large crowd in attendance for Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Forty units participated in the 17th-annual event, with Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley serving as grand marshall.
There were bands, floats, dogs, dancing clubs and several organizations participating.
St. Patrick’s Day isn’t actually until Friday, but it’s not unusual for the parades to be held the weekend before. For example, the Chicago River was dyed green this weekend.
