LANSING (WKZO-AM) — A mid-Michigan man who attacked an assistant prosecutor with a shank on the day he was to be sentenced on sex abuse charges last August has now agreed to plead guilty to the new charges.
If Ingham County Assistant Prosecutor Jonathan Roth had not ducked at just the right time, he might have been stabbed in the head.
Two court bailiffs tackled 35-year-old Joshua Harding and slammed him to the floor.
The Attorney General says Harding was given 19-years on the original sex charges.
He could get life for assault with intent to commit murder. He also pled to two felony weapon charges.
It was all captured on the courtroom’s video recording system.
