LANSING (WKZO-AM) — Is voter’s remorse settling in Michigan now that Donald Trump has finally taken office?
He won Michigan in November but his first poll numbers since the election show his popularity has dropped.
The latest EPIC-MRA survey says his favorability in Michigan is down to 39% with 48% holding an unfavorable view.
That makes him less popular than Governor Snyder.
The respondents in this poll are about evenly split on the Governor who still hasn’t emerged from the cloud that decended on his administration because of the Flint water crisis. Snyder has a 46% unfavorable rating and 44% saying they like the job he is doing.
Both Trump and Snyder are still a lot less popular than Barack Obama. 59% of the respondents give the ex-President high marks. Obama was last seen kite-surfing with billionaire Richard Branson off Hawaii.
The poll did not ask respondents how they feel about Pollsters. The last time we heard from them, they were trying to explain how they got the results on Election Day wrong.
