KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — A Kalamazoo mother who was already under Child Protective Services supervision, has now been charged with involuntary manslaughter because one of those children died.
Seven month old Jahionna Bradley drowned in a bathtub when left unsupervised with her two siblings on January 10th. 24-year-old Jennifer Spicer has also been charged with three counts of child abuse in the second degree.
She had been under supervision because of a history of drug abuse, and because three of her children tested positive for drugs at birth.
She was arraigned on Tuesday after the investigation was complete.
