KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — The City of Kalamazoo has lifted a boil water alert along Homecrest Avenue in Milwood.
It was triggered Thursday when a ruptured water main might have exposed the water to contaminants.
Subsequent testing for bacteria has revealed that the water is safe to drink.
The alert impacted homeowners on Homecrest Ave. west of Portage Street, including the Heritage Community of Kalamazoo.
