WASHINGTON D.C. (WKZO-AM) — Rob Cortis of Michigan is driving his so-called “Unity Bridge” all over D.C. possibly because it’s impossible to find a parking spot this weekend for a car, let alone a rig that is 72-feet long.
The trailer is an actual steel bridge with a cut out of Trump, flags, the statue of Liberty, and slogans decorating it, and it also blasts patriotic tunes.
Cortis toured New York City with it before heading for Washington. He has been given tickets to inaugural events, a half-price room and a place to park the thing at night.
He says he has also gotten more than his share of hand gestures. No invitation however to join the inaugural parade.
