CASS COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — It was a soggy and cold day to run away from home. That may be why two of the three teens from Goshen City, Indiana decided to abandon the wooded area in Cass County’s Newburg Township where they planned to hide out, and returned home on their own.
At about 5:30 pm, when the third teen had not returned, they became concerned because of the weather and sent in K-9 deputy Faust and his handler to try to find the missing 17-year-old.
About 40-minutes into the track, the dog sniffed out the location where the teen runaway was hiding from deputies. ‘The runaway was escorted back to his Indiana Home and turned over to his grandmother.
