BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a suspicious fire at a burned-out house on Seivour Avenue in Battle Creek.
Firefighters found flames in a living room window and smoke when they arrived at the residence before 11 p.m. Sunday.
The structure was unoccupied and boarded up after a previous fire, according to a press release.
Damage totaled just over $5,000.
