KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — Kalamazoo Township police need your help to identify the thief who walked off with a Salvation Army kettle full of money late last month.
Sgt. Stephen Rickey says the culprit, described as a man with dark hair, walked into Michelle’s Restaurant on Gull Road at about 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 27, grabbed the kettle and walked out while no one was watching. At the time, the theft went undetected until a Salvation Army volunteer came by to pick up the kettle.
But a surveillance camera has now been found that captured images of the perpetrator.
Anyone who knows the identity of the suspect involved, or who has any information about this crime is asked to contact Silent Observer at (269) 343-2100 or the Kalamazoo Township Police Department at (269) 343-0568.
