UNDATED (WKZO-AM) — A bug-killing company says it was a banner year for the spread of a hated pest in west Michigan.
Orkin ranked the Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek area 27th on its annual list of 50 cities with the worst bed bug problems. That’s up five spots from last year.
Detroit held steady at seventh on the list.
The top five: Baltimore, Washington D.C., Chicago, New York and Columbus, Ohio.
The company said it compiled the list by counting the the number of residential and commercial treatment calls they received in each metropolitan area.
