KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Police are investigating after a body was found on 5th Street in Springfield.
The discovery was made near the intersection at 30th Street at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim has not been identified, but investigators say the victim is not 28-year-old Robert Barroso. He was reported missing earlier this week after his vehicle was found in Lee Township on December. 27, 2016.
Both Michigan State Police and the Calhoun County Major Crimes Task Force have been called in to investigate the suspicious death.
