CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A disagreement in Athens Township has resulted in an arrest for a shooting and the seizure of drugs and guns at an apartment in Battle Creek.
Calhoun County Deputies say it began in a drive way on L Drive South when an argument broke out between five people sitting in a vehicle in a driveway.
A gun was flashed, one the five made a run for it, dodging bullets as they ran.
Investigators found bullet holes in a parked car and a nearby apartment building.
The resulting investigation led to the apartment on South Burge Street where police arrested a 19-year-old from Pennfield Township for attempted murder and a gun felony.
They seized illegal narcotics and recovered stolen guns.
More charges may result.
