KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — 90 Students from Kalamazoo Central High School are partnering up with Harding’s Friendly Markets and Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes for their annual “Stuff the Bus” food drive from 9 a.m. to Noon Saturday at the Harding’s locations on W. Main St. at Drake and on Stadium at 9th Street in Oshtemo.
Kalamazoo Central students have donated more than 4,100 pounds of food this week and are hoping for community help and support to reach its goal of 8,000 pounds.
One student made a cash donation of $400 he raised working a part-time job.
The food and cash donations will be given to Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes, a local food bank that serves about 700 people a day.
Just look for the big yellow buses outside the stores, and Merry Christmas.
