KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -Kalamazoo Circuit Court Jury has found George Mack guilty of first degree and felony murder for the murder of the brother of his ex-girlfriend.
Mack was not a nice man.
The convicted felon was a known drug dealer and had been abusive to Erica Bell for some time.
Prosecutors say the three had confronted each other earlier in the day and Bell and her brother, Edward were rushing to install new locks and reinforce the doors in her home on North Rose when Mack returned with an AK-47 and shot Bell in the back as he pushed his sister out of the way of the gunfire in August of 2015..
The Jury also found Mack guilty of multiple gun counts and aggravated stalking, but that won’t make any difference in sentencing. The two murder counts mean Mack will get Mandatory life without chance of parole when he is sentenced in December.
