PAW PAW (WKZO-AM) — A 63-year-old Portage woman has been arrested for operating while intoxicated, possession of dangerous drugs and reckless driving after traveling 11 miles the wrong way down Interstate 94.
Troopers with the MSP post in Paw Paw were notified about the driver, who was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, at around 12:30 a.m. Monday. Troopers and officers with multiple police agencies were able to stop traffic on the freeway and were able to successfully get the woman to pull over near Paw Paw before she caused a wreck, according to a press release.
Her name was not released.
