PORTER TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM) — A rookie Cass County Sheriff’s tracking dog is being credited for finding a suspect in a domestic violence case who fled a half-mile into a wooded area near Porter Township.
Faust found the 31-year-old late Monday hiding in a ditch after the incident in the 66000 block of Elbow Lake Road.
Sheriff’s deputies say the 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd has been with the department for about two months.
The suspect was booked into the Cass County Jail.
