KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM) — Western Michigan University President John Dunn will deliver his final state of the university address Friday morning.
It’s part of the school’s fall convocation.
University spokesperson Cheryl Roland says Dunn will give the address to around 500 people at the Bernhard Center at around 11:35 a.m.
“This is his final chance to lay out for the institution his thoughts, his hopes for the future and his analysis of the status of the institution as it is today,” Roland said.
The university will begin the program by handing out honors to faculty and other employees at 11 a.m.
Dunn is retiring next June. He has spent his last 10 years as president of Western.
