ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — A crash victim is being treated at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo after his vehicle suddenly veered off U.S.131 near Cotherman Lake and slammed into a guardrail late Sunday.
Witnesses say the vehicle then overturned into the median.
Rescue crews pulled 57-year-old James Douglas Johnson out of the wreckage and loaded him into an ambulance.
A hospital spokesperson says he is in fair condition.
Investigators are trying to determine why his vehicle suddenly went out of control.
