BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM) — Battle Creek Police are looking for the suspect who they say shot a man five times as the victim was sitting in a car near the Burnham Street and Terrace Avenue intersection at 7:00 Monday evening.
Despite the multiple wounds, officers say the victim after emergency surgery is expected to survive.
They are looking for an older white Ford Taurus with a cracked windshield that may have been used as the getaway car.
It was being driven by an African American female, with a male in the passenger seat.
They also say there have been additional witnesses who have not come forward. Detectives are asking that anyone with additional information call 911 or Silent Observer.
